Our cutting-edge gear manufacturing equipment, attention to detail and extensive experience ensure the highest quality parts. We run three production shifts five days a week, surveilled by a real-time IQMS monitoring system for complete visibility of the entire gear manufacturing operation. We make and control our own steel inserts, and offer in-house insert molding, eliminating the middleman and the need for external sourcing and parts integration. Our gear manufacturing capabilities also include micro-molding and assembly, utilizing a wide-range of engineering resins, as well as end-of-line testing.

Injection Molding:

Fully electric state-of-the-art molding machines ensure shot-to-shot consistency and long-term repeatability, while custom robotics provide automated part removal and sprue picking.  Manufactured entirely in-house, we offer manual, semi-automated and fully-automated in-house insert molding.

  • At the end of the gear manufacturing cycle, Performance Gear Systems offers full gearbox assembly, including manual, semi-automated and fully-automated.

Here at Performance Gear, We use all-electric state of the art molding machines, with advanced features that allow us to control and monitor the entire molding process, ensuring shot-to-shot consistency and long term repeatability. Our capabilities include fully automatic insert molding, micro-molding, gearbox assembly, and the ability to mold a wide-range of engineering resins.

Once production is ready to begin, our highly experienced staff, cutting-edge equipment and processes, and extreme attention to detail, ensure the highest quality parts.

We produce and control our own pinions, steel inserts, including splines, spur gears, worms, and axels, for in-house automated insert molding. This eliminates the middleman and the need for additional outsourcing.

Our facilities are highly automated, which allows for lower overhead costs. We utilize custom robotics for sprue picking and automated part removal, and also provide fully automated in-house insert molding as well as automated spline rolling.

Our additional capabilities include CNC swiss turning, micro-molding, complex gearbox assembly, and testing.

Available materials include but are not limited to acetals, nylon, polycarbonate, and polyester. High-temperature applications include High-Temperature nylon, and Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS). We also manufacture with glass, carbon fiber and mineral additives, as well as micro-powdered teflon.

PGS offers cutting edge CNC Swiss Screw Machining. Capabilities include high precision steel pinion production, Helical and spur, gear-hobbing, and thread whirling for high precision lead screws and worms.

At the end of the manufacturing process, Performance Gear Systems offers manual, semi-automated and fully-automated gearbox assembly, to the exacting standards we demand at every other stage of the production process.
